Guys, I’m begging you! Please stop playing guitar like this! Let’s just jump straight into it. Here are some things beginners/intermediate guitarists do that is hindering their success!

First one, most beginner/intermediate guitarists tend to hold their guitar slanted at an angle, pointing more towards them while playing. They do this so they can see the guitar more easily. But if you can, try not to do this! It’s just not correct, “Guitar Form.” To hold the guitar slanted at an angle like that. Instead, hold it straight up and really tucked in your side.

Second one, sometimes when you guys play any chords. You tend to keep your wrist tucked in to the guitar. And sometimes, that mutes the high e string or b string. So instead, keep your wrist tucked out or in line with your arm, or just keep it neutral!

Lastly, ONLY STRUM WITH YOUR ELBOW! Don’t move your arm, or your wrist. Use your elbow to only move your forearm. And strum like that!

And that my friends, are some beginner tips I NEEDED to hear when I was a beginner!

Welcome to my pick for my gear of the week that I want to show/suggest to you guys!

I’ve been filming my next YouTube video, and I happened to play an Orange Crush Mini 3-Watt Micro Amp. And that, was the best budget amp I have ever played. It has HEAVY distortion for a mini amp. And it doesn’t require a battery at all! You just plug it straight into your guitar and it turns on. No power cable or anything!

Updates With Me

Finished filming my first longform YouTube video of the year! Now I just have to edit it! So it should be out in a week or two. This is one of my most favorite videos I’ve made so far! So stay tuned!

I will most likely be doing a livestream Saturday or Sunday. In the afternoon or evening EST, keep that in mind if you want!

Other than that, nothing really has been happening. After I finish finishing writing this newsletter, I am literally going to go straight into filming my next YouTube Short. I have another instrument, that video should be out tomorrow!
